BROOMFIELD EARLY CHILDHOOD COUNCIL
What is UPK?
Universal Preschool (UPK) Program is for licensed community-based, school-based or home-based preschool setting. All children who are four years old by October 1 are eligible for 15 hours of preschool education.
For Families
In Broomfield, we have several different options for families. We have stand alone preschools, child care centers and many family child care homes that are participating in UPK. Follow this link to find available UPK providers in Broomfield for your 4 year old.

Many UPK sites will also offer full day care to support working families. The UPK program will offset costs to full day child care, but will only offset the 15 hours per week.
We have a dedicated person to support families specifically in finding and navigating the new UPK process and finding the perfect UPK spot for your family! Please reach out to Mercy Manresa if you are a parent or caregiver, Mercy@BroomfieldECC.org
